Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2026
This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with when you shop at Shirtcraft.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment details are handled directly by our payment processors (Shopify Payments, and others like PayPal or Shop Pay if you use them) — we never see or store your full card number.
We also collect the Minecraft username you enter at checkout, or the Minecraft skin PNG you upload. We use usernames to fetch the public avatar/skin for that account, and we store uploaded skin files so we can render and print your shirt. We don't query Mojang for anything beyond the public avatar associated with a username, and we don't link your username or uploaded skin to your real identity beyond what's needed to ship your order.
When you visit the site, we automatically collect standard analytics data: your IP address, browser type, device info, pages viewed, and referral source. This is handled through Shopify's built-in analytics and any other tools we've enabled (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, if applicable).
If you sign up for our newsletter or create an account, we collect your email and any preferences you provide.
How we use it
We use your information to process and ship your order, generate your custom shirt artwork, communicate with you about your order, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and (with your consent) send marketing emails. We may also use aggregate analytics data to improve the site and understand how customers find us.
Who we share it with
To run the store, we share data with a small number of service providers:
Shopify hosts the store and processes payments. Their privacy policy is at shopify.com/legal/privacy. Printify is our print and fulfillment partner — we send them your shipping address, order details, and the generated avatar artwork so they can produce and ship your shirt. Their privacy policy is at printify.com/privacy-policy. Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL, etc., depending on your location) receive your name and address to deliver your package. Email and marketing tools (such as Klaviyo or Shopify Email, if used) receive your email and order history if you've subscribed.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your Minecraft username or uploaded skin file with Mojang, Microsoft, or anyone outside the providers above.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
We use cookies for essential site functions (cart, checkout, login), analytics, and — if you've consented — marketing. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@shirtcraft.lol.
If you're in the EU/UK, our legal bases for processing are contract performance (to fulfill your order), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, analytics), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
If you're in California, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing — though as noted, we don't sell your data.
Data retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle any issues, and meet tax and accounting requirements (typically 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Your Minecraft username or uploaded skin reference is stored with your order record; uploaded skin files are retained as needed to fulfill the order and handle support requests.
Security
We rely on Shopify's and Printify's security infrastructure to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Children
The store isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some regions). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
